just some samples

i have been working at designing and creating the web for over 12 years. after over nine years of working with clients on projects of all sizes, here is a small collection of my work. to filter the entries by project type, please select a category below.

everymoment 3.0 website redesign

you know a true web designer is busy when they never have time to work on their *own* websites. this has been the case for several years on my personal blog, everymoment.org. so i finally had to make myself my own client, and boy, am i a terrible client to work for! hah! this design was started several months ago, and i wasn’t completely happy with it so it sat, unfinished, until i could spend the hours tweaking it until i was satisfied. the format needed to be flexible enough to support both text/picture blog entries, as well as video podcasts. i also needed a place to aggregate all my social media output throughout the web. alas.. every moment 3.0’s design finally comes to life (and finally the client is happy. *whew* :) )

on3design – website (version two)

after over two years of on3design’s first website design, it was time to freshen up the look and feel for the photography company. al & lyndsey also had a new logo and wanted more control over their website & photo galleries. the solution was a completely redesigned wordpress powered website, using flickr for their photo slideshows. the custom wordpress template includes a different flickr slideshow on each page that the client can edit at any time.

everymoment.org – my blog

i’ve been blogging since 2000. and back in 2000, people thought i was crazy for putting my journal online. maybe that’s true. but i’ve met some amazing people through my blog, and through other people’s blogs… many of whom i consider good friends. my blog started off at blogger.com, then i moved it to tracyapps.org (here) in 2001, then i bought thisroad.org and used that as my ‘travel journal’ blog, and then finally moved to everymoment.org in 2004. my blog has had many different facelifts, and this latest design was created in early 2007.
