i have been working at designing and creating the web for over 12 years. after over nine years of working with clients on projects of all sizes, here is a small collection of my work. to filter the entries by project type, please select a category below.

fuller still – photo shoot

fuller still, a Minnesota based band, needed a design for a new studio-release cd. so we set up a photo shoot to gather images to be used for press kit, website and the cd design. they were nice enough to drive down to milwaukee (a 5.5 hour drive), stand out in the cold bitter wind, sit on an old green couch with three legs, and even eat some mustard at a local chinese resturant that tasted like band-aids.

tammy ann winn – butterfly CD design

after doing the photo shoot for tammy, i used those photos, and a supplied watercolor scan to create the design for her cd, titled “butterfly.” the CD packaging she decided on was the “digi-pack” format, where the cd packaging opens like a book to reveal a pocket (for the booklet) and a plastic tray (for the cd). the main concept of this CD design revolves around the themes in the music: struggle & questioning to peace, joy & simplicity.

tammy ann winn – t-shirt design

this is one of the many projects i did for a local milwaukee singer-songwriter, tammy ann winn. the goal was a simple one color tshirt design that was not “album-specific” so that she could sell these even after her next cd release. the client wanted a similar design as another client of mine, with the “sketchy outline” feel. several color combinations were created for reference.
